Information on KG26 pilot
Best of the New Year to the Forum,
I have a pilot's licence that belonged to I believe must have flown with KG26 but I can't find him listed in the book Torpedos Los! I have a summary of his licence below. Any information on what I have listed would be appreciated. How can field post numbers help? Can they be very useful to pinpoint this fellow's unit? This is my first post so please e-mail a copy of your reply to lbohn@shaw.ca so I don't miss the post. :-) Best regards, Lorne Kurt Langer Kurt LangerBorn: 15.11.1921, Buchholz / Saxony Pilot’s License Number: 434 / 61 Pilot’s license issued: Oschatz 15.11.40 Training School Regiment 61 Training: 4.12.1940 – 28.06.1941 transferred to Brandenberg Flying School “C” 5 Blind flying II certification: on Neuburg / Donau 8.8.41 signed by Schmidt 8.2.42, ?? 7.1.43, ?? 7.1.44, ?? 10.10.45, ??
