Lt Nicholson FAA

Is anymore known about the above officer who was killed when his aircraft crashed into the sea while operating from HMS Courageous 1929/30 ?

Got an answer from another researcher :-

Lt John Nicholson (age 27) was killed on 25th June 1928 when his Blackburn Dart hit the funnel of HMS Courageous on take off and crashed into the sea off the coast of Malta . Dart no S1119 of 463 Flight , this comes from an old album witch includes photos of Flycatcher , Darts and Bison aircraft including S1119 and others down in the sea .
