Ju 88C-6 R4+HH, 1./NJG2, Catania, 1942
Hi All,
Would anyone know any information about the crew that flew the Ju 88C-6 R4+HH of 1./NJG2 based at Catania (in Sicily), Italy, in early 1942? I only found basic information about Oblt Gerhard Böhme in the list by Henry L. deZeng IV and Douglas G. Stankey, and he apparently shot down only one aircraft — a Whitley. It seems he died before the end of the war. Thank you very much Franklin ![]() The same photo (without names) appears in Nachtjager, Vol. 1: Luftwaffe Night Fighter Units 1939–1943 (Luftwaffe Colours) by David Williams (2006). |
