Collision Incidents in Operation Barbarossa

Hello

Two notable aces experienced collisions in 1941 with the first of these being when Feldwebel Hans Ehlers (55 victories, RK, killed in action 27 December 1944) of 3./JG 3 was seriously injured when his Bf 109 F-2 (W.Nr. 5708) collided with a reconnaissance aircraft of 4.(H)/22 at Luzk-Süd on 30 June. I believe this was Hs 126 B-1 (W.Nr. 3142) but is there any confirmation this was indeed the machine? The second incident was when Leutnant Georg-Peter Eder (78 victories, RK-EL) of 4./JG 51 was seriously injured when his Bf 109 F-2 (W.Nr. 9184) collided with a Ju 52 transport aircraft at Ponjatowska on 10 August. Is there any information on the transport available? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Horrido!

Leo
