Got me this Result MACR # Date A/C Type Serial # Group Squadron 4855 5/12/1944 B-17 42-31343 96 338 4855 4/29/1944 B-24 41-29269 450 http://www.aviationarchaeology.com/src/dbMACR.htm Got me this result MACR Number Date Aircraft Type AAF S/N Group Sqdn Pilot 4855 44/04/29 B-17 42-31343 96 338 Lewis 4855 44/05/12 B-24 41-29269 450 NOTE THAT THE DATES ARE REVERESED AT EACH SITE!!! I would tend to go with the later result, because the Pilot’s name is provided, however the 96th Bomb Group Association indicates the Group lost no Aircraft on April 29, 44? Thanks, Rob Romero
