The losses sustained by the lwf from 26.mai to 31.july, in the area were:

565 planes lost/damaged // OBHS //
Related to desert operations 410

98 due to ennemy action, 111 +50%, 40 due to "bombenwurf"

73 ju87

104 ju88


JG27 suffered 6 dead/17 wounded/ 11 missing
JG53 3 dead/ 6 wounded/ 8 missing
