18-02-1943; Hampden AE 435 'U' (415 Sqn) crashed on Docking!
Dear,
my name is Everard Bakker and I am coming from the Netherlands. I am writing about a Dutch Royal Marines who served in (together with 15 other Dutch Royal Marines) WWII as a airgunner the Dutch 320 Squadron RAF. On the 18th Febr 1943 the Hampden AE 435 of the 415 Sqn crashed on Docking, and burst into flames when he was take-off. The crew were all killed; Adams, Niblock, Campbell, Vokey, Mafrre, Do you have more information about this crash? How is this Hampden crashed? What was the problem?
