Re: Help To Id German Ww2 Aircraft Panel ??
I read somewhere here in Brazil an article about flying one of the first Junkers aircrafts produced. From that article I remember the AUF and ZU words and can inform that this piece of panel MUST BE from the cross feed fuel system ( switch selector valves ). Any German member can confirm if the words means ON and OFF?
From the number you told us Ju...( I do not remember by heart ) it seems certain tha it belongs to a JU 88. From the serial 140...we can perhaps have the werknummer of the aircraft and discover its Geschwader and the fate of the crew, the Russian pilot or Flak unit that claimed it. Hope to have helped... |
