Help please seeking info on 4 Luftwaffe pilots
Seeking help or information on four Luftwaffe pilots, no matter how small.
Alfred Ostemyer Otto Russ Gunther Worm Karl-Heinz Trettau All four from 11./JG53 were shot down by way of 403 Sq on 2nd July 1944.three were given as FTR. although at least Karl-Heinze did return later. As far as I am aware, at least Karl-Heinz is still with us. He was a keen motor racing driver and champion skier in the 1950s through the 1980s. I have a photograph of Otto Russ, any other photos or possible source of same also appreciated I would especially like to contact any of these chaps if at all possible. Many thanks.
