There is a discrepancy somewhere. B-17 #44-6915 survived the war to be salvaged at Kingman, Arizona after the war. The only B-17 from the 379th BG that was lost on 2/14/1945 was # 43-39147. Please recheck the date, BG, or serial number. Let me know if I can be of further help. Kind Regards, Hugh |
