What happened to Denis Barnham of Malta fame?

Hi folks. I've just finished 'One Man's Window', by Denis Barnham. Absolutely fabulous book about his days fighting over Malta. Googling however reveals nothing about him after he was posted home tour expired.

Does anyone know???
