Bf 109E-4 of Stab II./JG 51
Hi,
Attached is a scan of Bf 109E-4 of Stab II./JG 51 from Spring 1941 in the Channel area. It was flown by Gruppenkomandeur Hptm. Fözö. I have two questions regarding the colour scheme because of preparation of a side view of this machine for Revi magazine. * Are the Abschussbalken painted in usual black color or in seldom red color ? * Nose part of the machine (to entering edge of wing) was very probably yellow as other Gruppe Messerschmitts bur how about spinner - was it in black/white painting ?
