Ltn Schirmer

Seeking any further info. on Ltn Josef Schirmer who fell in combat attacking bombers on 30-12-1943 while flying Fw 190 A6 550912 of III/JG2 near Senlis ( he may have fallen to the 56th. F.G. ). I believe he had previously served with II/JG54 in Russia and lost a brother also a pilot with JG54 who was shot down near Leningrad. At the time of his death Josef Schirner may have been the adjutant of III/JG2, are any more details of his career available and has the site of his crash ever been investigated ?

Thanks

Brian Bines
