Mosquito DZ-656 crash in Belgium
On 27/04/1944 Mosquito II serialnumber DZ-656 from N° 141Sqn was lost , it seems that it was the first lost Mosquito on a Serrate patrol under Bomber Command . The crewmembers were ,
S/L Lovell Victor.C. DFC 85649 (KIA) and W/O Lilley Robert DFC 801556 (KIA). Both buried at Heverlee War Cemetery in Belgium. Can someone tells me if the date off the crash is correct and were did this aircraft came down ? Alain
