Mysterious Liberator from Gulf of Danzig
Hello all,
In Museum of Polish Navy in Gdynia is engine of type Pratt & Whitney R-1830, see photo. http://img509.imageshack.us/img509/7796/img3056tj8.jpg http://img509.imageshack.us/img509/9822/img3057fg6.jpg http://img481.imageshack.us/img481/3388/img3060cw6.jpg Plate informs, that belonged to Consolidated B-24 „Liberator” and found him in Gulf of Danzig in 1997. I wish very to find out what this plane. Very I ask for informations on theme B-24 „Liberator” lost in region Gdynia and Gdansk Thank you very much and sorry for my bad english. Best regards Alkali
