I have no specific reports of an attack on Mourmelon at that time. In fact looking at all reports I have, the activity of the Luftwaffe was seriously reduced by the end of the day. Still there is one option. At around 19.30 the Hawks of GC I/4 from Wez-Thuisy, after escorting Leo451 bombers that attakced the area around Dinant, intercepted a lone He111 flying back east that they shot down. This machine of 5./KG55 crashed at Attert in Belgium. It is all conjecture, but it seems that II./KG55 was occupied with the Reims area on this day, having attacked in the morning (see the previous post) and the end of the afternoon. Hopefully someone can confirm. Regards, Pieter
