P51D 44-13411 QP-Q Leonard Werner - 20 Nov 1044

20 Nov 1944: Mustang P-51D 44-13615 QP-R piloted by Donald Bennett and Mustang P51D 44-13411 QP-Q piloted by Leonard Werner both of 4FG/334FS op Debden in Engeland, colided over the current Wolderwijd (former lake IJsselmeer). Werner’s Mustang was recovered in juli 1970 in what is now Flevoland. Bennett’s Mustang is recovered in 1977 near Horst/Harderwijk. Bennet was POW and went via Dulag Frankfurt to Stalag Luft IV near Gross Tuchow in Poland. Was Leonard Werner ever found? If so where is he burried?
