Bit of a long shot but....
I am trying to trace any information about a (I believe French) chap who joined the RAF during WWII and served (again, I believe) as an instructor in Scotland and/or Yorkshire. He became operational once again for the D-Day invaisions
His name was Ben Lenson (although it was originally Ben Levinson but he changed it for fear of being taken prisoner as he was Jewish) Like I said it is a bit of a long shot but of anybody could shed some light I would be most grateful. In particular I would like to find out his rank.
