97 Squadron at Bourn (Black Thursday)
Hi everyone I am currently in the real final stages of draft for the second volume in the War Torn Skies series this time on Cambridgeshire. I am looking for photographs of them flying or static or crashed as the case maybe of the following Lancasters:- B;ack Thursday relates to the night of 16-17th Dec 1943 the raid on Berlin, and the terrible foggy conditions bomber crews experienced upon their return.... I only have a few days left and would be delighted to hear from anybody, I have been on the 97 Sq websites and am just trawling to see if there is anything else...of course full credit and acknowledgements will be given for any photographs supplied
