Lenson is also mentioned a few times in the three volumes of 2nd TAF by Shores and Thomas. 24-5-44: hit by flak nr Amiens, his Typhoon is damaged. 18-4-45: hit by flak, bailed out Allied territory, Friesoythe, Germany, Typhoon RB482. He's also mentioned (or rather 193 Squadron) in connection with the first stories about "Who Got Rommel" on 17-7-1944. But that's quite another history, as witnessed in another thread on this website.... Regards, Leendert |
