Pawel Burchard will become famous soon enough
64th anniversary of Warsaw uprising

Uprising started on 1700 PM on 01-08-1944, the number of casualties on Polish side is given as approx. 200.000 (during two months of street fighting). Luftwaffe took some part in the carnage - as far as I know operational over Warsaw were Stukas of some Nachtschlachtgruppe as well as He 111s from K.G. 4 and K.G. 55.

Just for the record,
Pawel
