New Books: Dutchies in de Fleet Air Arm
While working on his history of No. 320 Sqn. author/historian Nico Geldhof had collected a lot of material on Dutch aircrew serving with the Fleet Air Arm and decided to write a separate work on these men.
Dutchies in de Fleet Air Arm Nederlandse Marinevliegers in dienst bij de Fleet Air Arm tijdens de Tweede Wereld Oorlog. (Dutch Naval aviators in service with the Fleet Air Arm during the Second World War) Nico Geldhof ISBN 90-672-0398-X 2007, Geromy 260p + 16p of aircraft profiles laminated hardcover Nicely balanced book with a good general introduction about where these men came from, how they were trained and their operations. This is followed by c. 100 pages of short biographies. Finally attention is given to the equipment used. To top it off we have 16 pages of aircraft profiles, with a total of 32 side views. http://www.geromybv.nl/epages/615752...tgave/Dutchies A good book, recommended.
