Two losses from the mediterranean theatre - please help!
Can anyone tell me details (crewman,plane,markings, cause of loss etc.) for the losses of these two successful recon-crews, both in the mediterranean area:
1.) Major HELMUT ORLOWSKI, Kommandeur Aufkl.Gr. 122, lost at sea near Pescara/Italy on 08.11.43. Crew still missing? 2.) Lt. Alfred Gemsjäger/ Lt. Andreas Finke, 6.(F)/122, crashed near Brescia in northern Italy on 02.09.1944. There graves are now in Costermano on the german war graves cemetary. Was the plane from the last one the following: Ju188D-2, "F6+BP", lost 1.9.44 near Cremona? greeetings, bakerman.
