Me 163: inquiry

I have received two accounts from Bomber Command aircrew of night sightings they claim to have made of the Me 163 entering the bomber stream on two operations in late 1944.

My understanding had been that the Me 163 never operated at night. Both accounts are accurate enough to suggest otherwise.

Any comments would be appreciated.
