If you are a WWII fanatic (like most of us) then this video clip from P-47 pilot's helmet cam will get you going. Note how the pilot caresses the stick. Like the old Marine Gunnery Sgt said when talking about the rifle trigger and teaching recruits to shoot, "Pretend it's your girlfriend's @#$%, do you caress it or jerk it?"

If there any 9th AAF guys out there, this must really bring back memories. There's nothing like the sound of a R-2800.
