Robert James Dixon (14th PRS / 7th PRG ) loss over Merseburg?
Hi,
I am trying to discover the DATE and the serial number of the plane flown by Captain Robert James Dixon over Merseburg. Was it Spitfire PRXI, serial number PL866 lost on 14th February 1945? Where ( Stalag Luft ) he became a POW? Any information would be most welcomed. Many thanks Adriano Baumgartner
