"KLOD" = killed in Line Of Duty informations

Please,

I would like informations about these initialisms :

klod : killer in line of duty.

Who were the soldiers / flyers consider as KILOD ?

Soldiers who died not directly from ennemies actions ?

Killed just after the war ... but did dates exist to determine ?

What could be te nearest “French” sentence to translate it ?

thank you very much indeed !

Philippe
