Fw 190D unit at Anring (?) in early May 1945
Hello,
I have recently bought some aircraft cockpit instruments from a WWII veteran. He said that all instruments came from a "long-nosed fighter" which was at Anring AB in early May 1945. One of these instruments was used only on the Fw 190D types. So, it is highly possible that the "long nosed fighter" was a Dora. I have checked where Anring AB was but found nothing. Does anybody know the whereabouts of Anring and also which Luftwaffe units based there in early May 1945? Regards, batur |
