Ofw. KURT KARSTEN 7/NJG4

Can any Forum members help me with information regarding Ofw. Kurt Karsten who shot down Lancaster R5574 on the night of 21-22 December, 1942.

Would Forum members know if photos taken of this unit include him? I believe this was his only "kill" so he may not have been well known enough to warrant inclusion in postwar publications.

Any help that furthers my knowledge of this airman will be most gratefully received!

Kind regards, Malcolm.
