Hello,
Can any board member tell me whether Junkers 52's carried out any operations over the UK during the war. The reason I ask is because among my late father's souvenirs is a Nazi pilot document belonging to a German Ju 52 pilot by the name of Erich Hulsmann, complete with all his details and a photograph. My dad was born in Stepney, London in 1932 and had moved out to Billericay, Essex later in the war and consequently saw a fair bit of the aerial combat as an aeroplane mad young boy. I think he spoke of crashed aircraft and bombsites etc. and I wondered if this document could have been retrieved from a wreck? Any info/ suggestions gratefully received.
