Fw 190 G-3, WNr. 160896
Hello,
About 1-2 years ago I asked about a particular Fw 190 G-3: W.Nr. 160896. At that time nobody had any information. Only W.Nr. close to that one were reported as damaged/destroyed in Italy during 1944. The reason I was asking is that I owned the control stick of that plane (with the serial number painted onto the stick). As the stick was removed from a Fw 190 by a US GI, I assume it was found more or less intact at the end of the war. Maybe some new information based on photos showed up in the meantime? I would be very glad to know more about this Fw 190. Regards, Roger
