No problem, Don, exchanging dates may certainly happen...
 On that day we had 33 C.205s scrambled from Campoformido on early afternoon headed to Karlovac area (Croatia). There a combat took place presumably mainly against the escorting P-47s of the 325th FG. One P-47 was claimed by Ten. Bruno Cartosio at 15,45 hrs. in [Pl.Qu. QL 3-6/QM 1] area (confirmed by the Germans). Three C.205s were lost with Serg. Luigi Gorrini baling out while S.Ten. Remo Lugari and M.llo Luigi Morosi resulted as KIA. (Lugari is reported by the unit's diary as fallen at Fiume while Morosi at Bleiburg... though distances are noticeable, I can only take these data as they are reported). Hope this helps.
