Re: Lancaster loss ND672 22/23 March 1944

From my notes I have Ofw. Rudolf Frank as the best match for claiming ND672 at 21:40 JR-1 [IR-1] Gütersloh 5.500m.

Was Velasco the Mid Upper Gunner?
Was he thrown clear as ND672 broke up or exploded?

AJ if you have more information it would really help to explain the sequence of events that night.
