Hi Bruce
I added some notes in red above. Much of it from Christopher Shores books.
I would also like to add that if anyone writes a book about the air-to-air claims made by Coastal Command units I hope this will include all units not only the fighters. The air war Coastal Command fought was unique in many ways with General Reconnaissance aircraft like Hudson attacking German bombers when protecting convoys not to mention duels fought by four engined aircraft.
