Re: Blenheim incident 16/17 December 1940

Sounds like R3744 - crashed at Sprowston, near Norwich soon after take-off for Mannheim after engine cut, bombs jettisoned. Two of Sgt T Barne's crew, Sgt Seward and Sgt walsh, injured.

From Warner's Blenheim: A Complete History

Chorley says the bombs landed in Bond Street, but there's no mention of casualties. Nothong on CWGC for that district that I can find either.
