It's me again. Does anyone know which German unit was based on Marx airfield in April 1945? There were Me410 and He111.

Actually there were Bf109s and Ju 88s.
But also I would like to know who was based (in April 1945) on Menningen airfield. This unit definitely had Me410 and He111.

I assume that you are referring to Marx-Oldenburg airfield.
According to Wikipedia, As of April 1940, II./KG 26 was located there. March to September 44, I./KG 54 was located there. During October 1943, II./JG 11 was located there.

After that I can't seem to find any references.

Hi,

7./NJG2 were based at Marx with Ju88 aircraft during the first week of April 1945, before transferring to Leck.
