Re: 4 more Ju88 A-17 june 1944

Hello !

I found this info on a forum with a thread treating of destruction of HMS BOADICEA on 12-13 june 1944 ; references to other aircraft losses during this period for KG77 were true ; for this aircraft of 2/KG77 I found nothing. I think it is perharps a confusion with 3Z+LK lost on 22 june.Could you provide me WNr and crew names for this one too as for 3Z+AR lost on 18 june.

Regards

Claude

Re: 4 more Ju88 A-17 june 1944

In respect of 18 Jun, I have a I/KG 77 ac lost as opposed to a 7/KG 77 ac? 3Z+LK was (I think) 801586 Hptm Dietrich Jordan, Fw Hans Braune, Uffz Franz Horn, Uffz Kal Bentrup

Re: 4 more Ju88 A-17 june 1944

you are true ; I have made a mistake ; all my apologies.
It is Ju88 A-17 3Z+AR of I/KG77 pilot Uffz Dietrich Herschel, lost on 18 june 1944.
Have you the WNr and names of rest of crew ?

All my thanks

The pilot was Henschel not Herschel. Wk Nr possibly 801788 or 801738. Uffz Helmut Brossner, Uffz Wolfgang Hofer & Uffz Gerhard Elfruth. What is your interest with these losses?
