ZG 26

Goodmorning everyone...

my question is about ZG26
i see in some threads an reverance to "Ring ZG 26 loss list"
does this means that there is an book or somekind with loss list tables in it?
and are there some other books concerning ZG1,2,76?

thanx

Re: ZG 26

HI

Book on ZG 1 was written by John Vasco. Photographic boook but has some info on losses etc. Also there is in preparation book on ZG 1 in Eastern front, and possibly other fronts as well by two man team.
ZG 26 book is in preparation by one man (if not more), as well as ZG 76 history *prepared separately by 3 researchers).

Not to mention nice Photographic histories of the Zerstorer and Nachtjagdverbanden from Mayer and Stipdonk. Vol 5 in preparation...

Rings lists are handwritten lists of namentlicheverlustmeldungen of the Geschwader. Covers only KIA and WIA persons of units..
From time to time could be obtained copy from some private hands...

Re: ZG 26

My information on losses of ZG 1 from 4/1/42 onwards are from the Namentliche Verlustmeldungen and the Quartermaster Returns. A bit more than some info...
