Re: SB-2 recovered in Far North, crashed 17.12.39

I need some help with text under this image:

Text is:

What this mean?

Cheers

PILOT,
Google translator is very helpful for most of us who do not understand Russian language. The meaning is:
" And those stars on the fuselage and wings that lay flat, preserved as if they were printed yesterday. And burned fiercely earnest crimson flame Red Army Air Force insignia. The mind refused to believe that 60 years have passed since the tragedy in the taiga."

By the way, the pictures are really amazing...very well preserved machine. The aircrew surely deserve a decent funeral.

Yours
And...EVGENY, many thanks for sharing the news and the link with us. Very kind of yours.

Thank you Adriano... I know for Google but as well it have some issues I have ask some Russian member for assistance. That's why the forums are made for...

Something strange- on one image is shown burial ceremony and there was priest present! Why this did not done more official, with military honors and so on? Other question- if the member crew was communist, they don't use any religious elements for burial, just political.

This finding is great and nice to see that this people who give life for freedom and country have finally get rest as they deserve. Also hope that plane remains will stay in Russia...

Pilot, the burial picture was taken after the discovery of the wreck, so far after the loss of Soviet Union. In today Russia, a priest can be expected at most burials. Also what I have read of wreckchasing in Russia shows little investisment by the officials (but I will rather let Russian members of this forum confirm this).
