How many Dutch civilians were actually killed in OYSTER on 6 Dec 1942 ? Bowyer in 2 Group says 25 but Middlebrook in BCWD says 125? Which figure is accurate ? Also, was there not also some suggestion that the bit about the raid taking place on a Sunday to reduce casualties was a myth as it had actually been planned and twice cancelled at the last minute during the preceding week ?

name birthday and adress

The official figures as given in Eindhoven, een samenleving in verandering. Deel 2. 1920‑1960.Dr.J.M.P. van Oorschot at page 533 are:
Killed 138
Wounded 161
Missing 10
As far as I know the raid was only cancelled once.
