Re: Need help identifing an aircraft 2

Well I gave myself the needed clues in my message of 28 Sep. Started looking thru the 3 views of observation aircraft in Green's Warplanes of the Third Reich. Found the Ha 141-0 (later became the BV 141V-2). It fits the fotos, outer wing leading edge sweepback, canopy slides rearward, has a glazed nose, single engined (in the main fuselage which can't be seen the fotos).
Thanks for everyone for your suggestions.

Re: Need help identifing an aircraft 2

Hello all,

You are right Richard.
In Jet & Prop 5/2003, page 55, there´s a picture of exactly this cockpit in an article dealing with the BV 141 (Ha 141) development.

Unfortunately my scanner is not working (thanks to windows Vista) so maybe anyone else can show You the prove.

Norbert,

Dug thru my back issues of J&P, that's a perfect match.

Thanks.
