Many thanks. Are you or any of the other members able to advise what the R785 suffix signifies after the Do17Z reference and from which part of the airframe this may have come from ? I understand the 02 reference in the Sach Nr. detremines this. I obtained the attached Lorenz plate with the Dornier one posted earlier. I believe this comes from the AAG 16 Aerial Matching Unit that will have formed part of the FuG 16 VHF radio system. Does the 41 reference in the Werk Nr. signify the year of manufacture ? I believe that both plates came from the same UK crash site and am making further enquiries. Regards Nick |
