Hello,
This soldier was a trained glider pilot, the notation"LS-Pilot" does stand for "Lastensegler-Pilot" or translated glider pilot. He did belong towards the Lw. feldregt. Barenthin and he was KIA on that very day. It is known that certain company's from that regiment did do an assault on a englisch positions. Cordial greetings,
