Schlachtgeschwader 4 Colors
My brother is getting involved in remote controlled aircraft and recently met a person who made an Fw 190 (photo attached). The Werknummer of the aircraft has the Werknummer 470 412, which I believe was the aircraft of Hauptmann Karl Langenburg of Schlachtgeschwader 4. However, I believe this aircraft was "White 7", not "Yellow 17." Can anyone confirm this for me? Also, what color should the Rumpfband and Wellenlinie be? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Schlachtgeschwader 4 Colors
Hi Barry,
Judging by the photograph, the Werk Nummer of the model aircraft is actually 170 412, unless I've misread it. The code for Karl Langenberg's aircraft was 'White 7 + '. Langenberg was Staffelkapitaen of 5./Sch.G. 2, and later 1./S.G. 4, both of which used white codes. Fuselage band of his aircraft would have been white, for the Mediterranean theatre.
