Re: Looking for host...

The strange things is ...right in the FB you can read "Fdbr. mit ...(?)... 6 Airacobra" but he claimed in the next line an Lagg-5. So I guessed the Lagg-5 were mentioned in the (for me) not readable part of the FB.

Best Wishes
Rasmussen

Re: Looking for host...

III./51 file is already corrected and I also uploaded German claims for July/August 1943
http://yogysoft.de/pawel/_kursk/unit...laims-1943.pdf

The file should not differ much from Tony Wood's files. Tony kindly sent me one or two of his microfilms for scanning (it was May 2002) and after writing down only July and August 1943 I realized what amount of work he put in his files...

Almost forgot about this little ones General maps of operations of Lfl. 4 for July/August 1943 plus 'statistics' from Flivo AOK 2 files, there are some discrepancies between both...

Re: Looking for host...

New file - http://yogysoft.de/pawel/_kursk/units_pdf/KG1-III.pdf

III./K.G. 1 seemed to be kind of mysterious unit at the start of a research, but in the end come up better covered than for example K.G. 51 Gruppen.

Re: Looking for host...

Official Luftwaffe documents on Lfl. 4 and its Fliegerkorps activities during summer 1943 are missing, therefore one must search in Heeres stuff, the results are not astonishing though, just various debris

Re: Looking for host...

The next specifications for FB Heinz Sellhorn (3./ StG 77):

19.07.1943
0556 - 0749: "...auf Höhe 194,3 n.ö. Ortschaft ..." - correct: "... auf Höhe 194,3 2 km n.ö. Ortschaft ..."
1605 - 1646: "...nw. Ssenitschew" - correct: "...nw. Ssenitscheno"

25.07.1943
1022 - 1102: "...2 km sw. ..." - correct: "... 2 km ostw. ..."

10.08.1943
0500 - 0545: "...Scherk Bishkin Cerkas'ki Tysky 4 km ..." - correct: isn't Cerkaski Tysky but Cerkas'kyi Byshkyn (49° 33' N, 36° 25 E)

There are necessary some other specifications because some of the informations were written 1 : 1 from FB other not.

Best regards
Rasmussen
