Hi There i have a photo of a ME109 with the prop tips bent forward what could have caused this

The quick and simple answer is; the tips will bend forward if the engine is making power when the blades hit.
If the engine was at idle, the blades will bend backwards. Regards, |

Surely a ground loop would be more likely, where the tail comes round and the aircraft is for a moment going in reverse.
What happened to the photo - I cannot see it
