I just wonder what is the difference between this new book and his previous book "The Luftwaffe over Germany", since that old book pretty much covers the same subject

Well now...I can hardly wait!

Re: Caldwell's War Diary

I gotta bump this; is this book's format going to be the day to day diary style (along with the the losses & vic claims day by day & tabulated at the end) like the JG26 war diary?

I see that this book is now available on Amazon UK. It is supposed to be available in the US on March 19.

Re: Caldwell's War Diary

It is so annoying when publication dates are not followed, and it happens all the time!

Re: Caldwell's War Diary

And I just received this disappointing news from Amazon.ca:

We're sorry to report we won't be able to obtain the following item from your order:

Donald Caldwell "Day Fighters in Defence of the Reich: A War Diary, 194245"

Although we'd expected to be able to send this item to you, we've since found it's not available from any of our sources at this time. We realize this is disappointing news to receive, and we apologize for any inconvenience we've caused you.

We've cancelled this item from your order.

Gotta find it from somewhere else for shipping to Canada I guess.
