Hi
Wellington Mk.IC (L7842,KX-L) 311 (Cs) Sqn RAF.
Takeoff 18:06 East Wretham 06.02.1941 for action Boulogne.Returning lost orientation. At 22:00 pm accidentally landed in France at the airport Flers south of Caen. Crew POW: P/O František Cigoš(pilot), Sgt Petr Uruba (pilot), P/O Emil Bušina (nav.), P/O Arnošt Valenta (tlg), P/O Karel Křižík, Sgt Gustav Kopal.

Arnost Valenta later played in captivity one of key roles in preparation of The Great Escape. Finally murdered on 31 March 1944 with other escaped.
