Re: Pilots of GC III/1

Hi Alain

Have you tried this site?

http://www.aerostories.org/~aeroforums/forumhist/

They seem to be good at pilots but not so good on aircraft (at least I never get any answers to my questions or perhaps no one understands English.... )

Cheers
Stig

Re: Pilots of GC III/1

Well Bertrand

I don't make very much fuzz anywhere, just trying to be helpful whenever I can, and perhaps I am asking too much that others might be in return....
Please feel free to answer those few question about French aircraft I have posted on the site. So far no one else has, and I don't know if the reasons are that the period before 1939 is so badly covered or my questions are badly put...., because surely that I don't speak/write French shouldn't be an obstacle should it?

Salut
Stig

Re: Pilots of GC III/1

Alain,

Not much, but here are their first names: Jean Tariel, Maurice Goumy, Jean Lagrange, all credited with air victories over Belgium in May 1940.

Tariel reportedly KIFA 15-2-1941.

Groet,

Leendert

Re: Pilots of GC III/1

Alain,

Just also found this on website 123people.fr:

Groet,

Leendert
