in searching about clash this day I have found this info in the book Thunderbolts of the U.S. 8th Army air Force (March 1943-February 1944) by Tomasz Szlagor (Kagero publishing) info, that this day 7/JG 2 loss Staffelkapiten Lt.Wilhelm Flegel von Farnholz flying in Bf 109G W.Nr.410496 "Weisse 1". Same info are from this links: http://www.aircrewremembrancesociety...anPilotsF.html http://forum.12oclockhigh.net/showthread.php?t=9757 From this link I have info, that Uffz. lrich Hueck from 6./JG 2 claim of B-24 is in fact P-47 (B-24 not particiúate on this raid) http://forum.12oclockhigh.net/showthread.php?p=133427 Are know some other losses (or dammaged,crash landing) of Bf 109 of JG 2 from this date? Same info for Fw 190 are welcome. Faenor
